iPad Day 1 Sales: 300,000 units sold

Apple has announced in a press release that they have sold over 300,000 iPads on the first day. Apple has released iBooks, their electronic book reader for the iPad, in the iTunes App Store. iBooks is free and currently available in the US iTunes Store. iBooks currently supports the following languages: English, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.
