iPad App Store Adds Search Filters and Other Improvements

Apple has improved how you search for apps in the iPad App Store. When you search you will notice a filter section.

Now you can filter by category, release date, customer rating, price and device type. You can also reset the filter to the default settings.

MacStories have also noticed that apps that you already purchased and didn’t install on the device have an “install” button instead of the usual price/buy button. Will we see a purchase history list similar to the Mac App Store?
