At the Apple OS 4 preview event, Steve Jobs has updated the original iPad day 1 numbers as of Thursday April 8th. From 300,000 iPads sold to 450,000. From 250,000 iBooks downloads to 600,000. From 1 million iPad Apps downloads to 3.5 million downloads.
As for the App Store: Steve Jobs said than they had over 4 billion App Store downloads from 3 billion in January, a total of 185,000 Apps in the App Store and 3,500 iPad apps in the App Store.
Steve Jobs also said that Apple has sold over 50 million iPhones and 35 million iPod touches. So over 85 million devices running iPhone OS.
Apple also won the J.D. Power award for highest customer satisfaction among Smartphone Manufacturers for the third year in a row.
