TomTom Middle East for the iPhone/iPod touch

TomTom has released TomTom Middle East for the iPhone and iPod touch. However they did not announce the availability of this app in a press release or list the Middle East on the TomTom iPhone app website.

Since I couldn’t find any official TomTom Middle East website I will list the iTunes notes here:

TomTom’s Middle East support can be found here, no info for Middle East customers has been found.

The application only covers 6 Middle Eastern countries: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. No Arabic support and small streets are nameless. The size is 91MB and sold for $79.99. However it is currently the top grossing app in the Saudi Arabia iTunes App Store. iTunes Store link.
