Steve Jobs return, a million iPhone 3GS and more news

Here’s the Apple news from the last few days.

stevenoteSteve Jobs is back at work after his 6 month leave of absence for medical reasons.

Apple announced that it sold 1 million iPhone 3GS units in the first 3 days of the product release. The iPhone OS 3.0 was also downloaded by over 6 million customers.

The jailbreaking application UltraSn0w for iPhone OS 3.0 was released.

Apple updated the MacBook Pro EFI firmware, the update increases the speed of the SATA controller in the new MacBook Pro line from SATA 1 (1.5gb) to SATA 2 (3gb). The change won’t be noticeable unless you have a high end SSD drive.

iPhone OS 3.0 adoption rate is high.

iPhone 3GS OpenGL benchmarks are impressive.

    As a Apple fan, a recent convert from Windows-I am patiently waiting for iPhone.
    So are many other people on Saudimac site.
    You are looking at a sales figures  of atleast 100 iPhones from Saudimac users, maybe 1000 for Riyadh and maybe 5000 for Saudi Arabia.

    Mobily does not appear to be intrested in increasing the  sales- that is evident!!
    But is Apple Inc also not interested?
