Hi, i have recently got a iphone 3GS from US and has jailbroken it using redsn0w, and i am trying to unlock it using purplesn0w. but does not seem to succeed. Could u help me.

Go to iclarified.com. This is the best website when it comes to jailbreaking and unlocking any iphone (2G, 3G, and 3Gs). It provides very helpful tutorials that include step-by-step directions complete with screenshots to make the process very easy.
