Egypt will probably not get the iPhone 3G

I recently discovered (thanks to Zsafwan and Mazen) that GPS devices are banned from use in Egypt! Telecoms Law 10/2003 outlaws the import of GPS-equipped mobile phones, and retailers found selling them could lead to the confiscation of their entire stock.
