New Betas: iPhone 3.1b2, Leopard and Snow Leopard

Apple released iPhone SDK 3.1 beta 2 to their iPhone developers. It also includes iPhone software 3.1 beta 2. Many sites reported that this beta also disables “unauthorized tethering”, which is this process. No iPhone 3G owner in Saudi Arabia managed to enable tethering by calling Mobily’s support. iTunes 8.2.1

Apple has updated iTunes to version 8.2.1. The update is 79MB and “provides a number of important bug fixes and addresses an issue with verification of Apple devices”. It disables Palm Pre music syncing. Apple did warn of this last month. The update is available from Apple Software Update or Apple’s website.
