Zain Kuwait has started selling the Apple iPhone 4 two months after VIVA Kuwait. With that the iPhone is now officially available from 2 Kuwaiti carriers. Zain first announced the iPhone 4 deal in January.
FaceTime is available in these iPhone 4 units according to Zain’s website. I expect units sold carry the model numbers MC606AE, MC605AE, MC604AE and MC603AE (United Arab Emirates model number) and just like VIVA a carrier update will enable FaceTime.
These are Zain’s iPhone 4 prices:
More information is available on Zain’s website.
Here is Zain’s English press release, unlike the Arabic press release the English release had the correct number of App Store apps (425,000 not 350,000). However it still claims that iMovie is an iPhone 4 exclusive app (it works on iPod touch 4 and iPad 2).
