Free MacBook Bottom Case Replacement from Apple

Apple offering free MacBook bottom case replacement for units sold between October 2009 and April 2011. These are the Polycarbonate Unibody MacBooks released on October 2009 and May 2010.

Apple has determined that under certain circumstances the rubber surface on some MacBooks may separate from the bottom case of the system. MacBooks shipped between October 2009 and April 2011 may experience this issue.

The MacBook Bottom Case Replacement Program offers a free replacement for customers who have issues with the bottom case. You can replace it for free at an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. You can even request the part and install it yourself.

This is Apple’s list of Apple Authorized Service Provider and unfortunatly no Middle Eastern country is listed. The closest countries listed were Pakistan and Turkey. Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates are not listed!

If you’re in Saudi Arabia you can try any of Arab Computer’s repair centers in Riyadh, Jeddah and Khobar. For the rest of the Middle East check out Arab Business Machine’s list of service providers.

Did you face issues with your MacBook bottom case? Did you get it replaced?
