Apple has released iOS 4.3 for the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Apple TV. iOS 4.3 introduces many features such as playing iTunes content via Home Library, improved AirPlay and Personal Hotspot to share an Internet connection via Wi-Fi.
iOS 4.3 beta features include:
iPad Arabic keyboard was improved as Arabic-PC keyboard interface was added as noted in these screenshots by @milyani.
Also via Milyani: Arabic-PC keyboard layout was added to the iPhone, replacing the default Arabic keyboard layout.
Personal Hotspot was added, replacing Internet Tethering. Now you can share your iPhone 3G connection with up to 5 devices using Wi-Fi. Since Mobily supports tethering then it should work in Saudi Arabia.
The iPad side switch function was changed in iOS 4.2 to mute from locking rotation. Now in iOS 4.3 Apple added the ability to choose the function of the side switch: lock rotation or mute. [Via MacStories].
AirPlay will support video streaming for most apps.
iOS 4.3 is available for the following devices: iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, Apple TV (2nd gen) and iPod touch 3rd and 4th gen.
Most likely due to performance issues, iPhone 3G and iPod touch second generation will not receive this update.

Hey, I just updated my iPhone4 to iOS4.3. The picture above is totally different! There is NO PERSONAL HOTSPOT! I’m using Mobily and I guess they also did not allow tethering…the tethering settings on my phone has been “show-no-show” for like a year now… Safari is great though…NO FACETIME still for Saudi Arabia!
all it takes to have a Personal Hotspot is a TOTAL RESTORE! Still no FACETIME for now..maybe on iOS4.3.1…good luck.
About Arabic-PC keyboard layout I have update my two iPhone 4 & 3Gs.!
I found out that only iPhone 4 has change the layout! the 3Gs still the same!
for AT&T user they have to call to add the PERSONAL HOTSPOT =)
i am trying to update ios 4.3 for my iphone 4 but end of the download disconnected and say check your connection any one help on this problum ?!!!
I have updated the my iPhone 3GS to iOS 4.3. I was very excited but all went away when I came to know that my STC data service isn’t working. Now I can’t send mms and use internet via 3G. Only STC sites can be opened by safari. I can only use Internet via wifi. Weird. Things I noticed changed after iOS 4.3 update I can’t set data settings be use the tab is gone. Only time it appears when I swap the sim with mobily the the tab appears. As far as I figured it out is that STC carrier setting file is full of s*** now it won’t allow me to edit APN. Or my iPhone is old now and needed to be put out of it’s misery.
Help me guys.
i got an iPhone4 and after the installation of iOS4.3 i faced the same problem..i got Mobily though, but all things went into place after restoring my iPhone to its factory/default settings…RESTORE FROM THE SCRATCH, like having your iPhone for the first time again, DO NOT RESTORE FROM A BACKUP. Good luck.
