Updates: Logic Pro, Logic Express and more

Apple has released updates for both Logic Pro and Logic Express digital audio production software.

Both updates (Logic Pro 9.1.2 and Logic Express 9.1.2) deliver improved general stability and compatibility as well as addressing the following issues:

• Improved compatibility with 6 and 12-core Mac Pro systems
• Support for iOS control surface apps that utilize the OSC protocol
• REX files now supported in 64-bit mode
• Improved compatibility with select Audio Unit plug-ins

If you bought an Apple 27-inch LED Cinema Display then make sure that you install LED Cinema Display Software Update 1.0 which provides support for this new display.

And finally for Windows users on Boot Camp don’t forget to installed either Apple Magic Trackpad and 27-inch LED Cinema Display Update for Windows 64 bit or Apple Magic Trackpad and 27-inch LED Cinema Display Update for Windows 32 bit which “adds support for the Apple Magic Trackpad and 27-inch LED Cinema Display”.
