Etkalem, an Arabic speech synthesis iOS App

Etkalem is one of the first Arabic Speech synthesis (Text-to-speech) apps for iOS devices and you don’t need an Internet connection to use it.

Just type or paste the text you want to hear. The app can also share audio files using email.

Here’s an example Arabic audio output from the app.

I hope to see added support for other upload services such as Dropbox and support exporting to external apps such as iFiles and Good Reader.

Etkalem is a Universal App and is available on the App Store for $1.99.
