Apple reports $3.25 billion profit for Q3 2010

Apple has announced their financial results for fiscal quarter Q3 2010. The company had a profit of $3.25 billion and a record revenue of $15.7 billion.

Mac sales were 3.47 million units, 33 percent unit increase over the year-ago quarter. As for iPhones: 8.4 million units, 61 percent unit growth over the year-ago quarter. iPod sales were 9.41 million units, eight percent unit decline from the year-ago quarter. Finally for the iPad, Apple has sold 3.27 million units.
