Apple announced 27-inch LED Cinema Display

Apple today has announced a new 27-inch LED Cinema Display.

The display features are:

• Widescreen 16:9 with 2560 x 1440 resolution
• built-in microphone
• built-in iSight camera
• Speakers
• 3 port USB 2.0 hub
• MagSafe adapter for MacBook and MacBook Pro portables
• IPS (in-plane switching) to improve the viewing angle
• light sensor
• LED backlit

The 27-inch LED Cinema Display will be sold for $999 and will be available in September 2010.
