SaudiMac Saudi Apple Macintosh Users
Mobily has been demonstrating the Apple iPad during this year’s Gitex Riyadh technology exhibition.
According to messages on Twitter (here) Mobily will be bringing the iPad to the Saudi market. According to employees at the Mobily booth the company will bring the iPad Wi-Fi within 2 months, iPad Wi-Fi + 3G model with Mobily Micro-SIM will be released later.
Mobily also announced their iPhone/iPod touch/iPad App “Mobily World”.

Who cares I got the 32GB iPad a week ago from iStore! The “premium” was worth every bloody penny. Probably gonna cost a fortune anyways with them plus they say 2 months but i highly doubt they can launch officially in this timeframe since UK and other 11 nations has been delayed by a month.

Actually not everyone can get a hand on one through online stores; that makes it more common in our market, just like the iPhone now.
But I agree on the price issue, I’m getting mine through a friend anyhow.
I have a problem with Mobily.I installed Opera Mini browser on my phone.For 2 weeks it was working fine,but 2 days ago it wont connect to the internet.The built in browser however still works. I think Mobily is just blocking my installed browser.
Follow up on my comment: I am subscribed to Mobily’s internet package of 100mb/mo. The Opera Mini 5 browser gives me a big saving on my data plan.
I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHEN WILL IpAD 2 WILL BE RELEASED in SAUDI ARABIA!!!!! THATS ALL!!!
