Apple has released iBooks, their electronic book reader for the iPad, in the iTunes App Store.
iBooks is free and currently available in the US iTunes Store.
iBooks currently supports the following languages: English, Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. No Arabic support at the moment.

some stores might have it next week but will sell at EXTREMELY high prices.
iBooks is an iPad only app for now
Yahoo, got my ipad today in saudi arabia, a friend carried from the US. Too bad I cannot download the iBooks apps which is only available in the US app store. Anyother way I can get it?
Apple: If it is free, why did you not ship it with iPad…. I am confused
