Apple has reported their second quarter results (Q2 2010). With $3.07 billion in profit and $13.5 billion in revenue.
Apple said they sold 2.94 million Macs, %33 increase from last year’s second quarter.
8.75 million iPhones, a growth of %131 from last year’s quarter.
iPods: 10.89 million iPods, a %1 decrease from last year’s quarter.
iPod touch: yearly growth of %63.

From the press release. Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO said the following: “We’re thrilled to report our best non-holiday quarter ever, with revenues up 49 percent and profits up 90 percent. We’ve launched our revolutionary new iPad and users are loving it, and we have several more extraordinary products in the pipeline for this year.â€
It’s expected that the revenue for the upcoming third quarter to be between $13 and $13.4 billion.
