Apple acquires Intrinsity and Siri

The New York Times has confirmed that Apple has acquired Intrinsity, a semiconductor maker. The NYT estimates that Apple paid $121 million to acquire Intrinsity.

This is the second semiconductor company that Apple acquired after P.A. Semi in 2008. Apple paid $278 million for it.

The Loop reported that Apple has acquired Siri. Siri provide a mobile personal assistance app for the iPhone. The following video demonstrates Siri:
