Valve brings Steam to the Mac

Valve, makers of popular computer games like Half Life, Portal, Counter Strike and many more, has announced that they will bring their gaming service Steam and their gaming engine: Source to Mac OS X.

From their press release, the following games will be available in April: Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike, Portal, and Half-Life series.

If you already bought a Valve game (like The Orange Box) for the Windows then you won’t need to buy these games again. Valve’s next game, Portal 2 will be released simultaneously on Mac and Windows.
