Gifting Apps in iTunes is now available

It is now possible to purchase Apps from the iTunes App Store and send them as gifts.

The ability to send a gift was only available for music in the iTunes Music Store. Now it is possible to purchase an iPhone/iPod touch App and send it to a family member or friend as a gift.

Simply click the arrow near “Buy App” button and select “Gift this App”.

Now fill the information in this form and continue your purchase.

Remember that gifts can only be redeemed from the same country. So if you have a Saudi Arabia iTunes account then the gift recipient needs a Saudi account as well, here’s how to create a free iTunes account.
