60,000 iPhones sold on the first day in South Korea
KY Telecommunication company has announced that they have sold almost 60,000 iPhones in the first day of the iPhone in South Korea. That number is %15 of the estimated number of smartphones sold in the country in the 3rd quarter of the year.
An interesting note is that only %1 of cellphones in Korea are smartphones, even though they have the most advanced cellphones in the world.

We hope that telecommuncation companies in the region learn from KT, especially Mobily as they have never announced their iPhone sale numbers.
