Etisalat and du will both sell iPhone 3GS in UAE
United Arab Emirates’ second cellular carrier du has announced that they will sell the iPhone 3GS. Customers can pre-book their iPhones from du by visiting this page on October 17th. This move could be the result of a partnership between Vodafone and du.
Etisalat, UAE’s first carrier and Mobily’s partner, has also announced that they are releasing the iPhone 3GS and you can pre-book it from by following these instructions.
As for Saudi Arabia, Mobily’s site still list the iPhone 3GS as “coming soon”. A source in Mobily told us that they will sell the iPhone 3GS on October 27th.
Apple has changed the UAE iPhone page to “introducing iPhone 3GS”, the Saudi Arabia iPhone page still displays the iPhone 3G. There is an error on Apple’s site as it displays Mobily as the seller in Saudi Arabia in the UAE where to buy page.

Hopefully the source is a reliable one
At long last, iphone 3GS will come sooner than what I am anticipating (November or worst next year

can’t wait for the 3GS to be available here in Saudi Arabia…. i am planning to buy it in Mobily center but if the price is like what they are selling in carefour, no way i am gonna buy it…
