Apple adds Arabic support for iPod nano, not Classic
Apple has updated the iPod classic and iPod nano during today’s music event. The iPod nano will include a video camera and FM tuner while the iPod classic storage was update to 160GB.
One of the features of the new iPod nano is adding support for Arabic. Arabic is finally supported on a regular iPod even though there was supposed to be a prototype in 2006.

However Arabic isn’t listed as a supported language for the iPod classic and we expect that older iPod models will not receive an update to support Arabic.
