Arab Computers has updated their homepage to announce that Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard will be available in Saudi Arabia this week “only” at authorized retailers. No word about pricing.
itechia, an independent Apple reseller will also have Snow Leopard this week. Prices start at 49SR, most likely for customers who bought a Mac after June 8th.
Mac OS X Snow Leopard was released first in UAE last Thursday by iStyle stores.
Does that mean who bought mac’s computers one year ago will not get snow leopard for 49 riyals ????
apparently so. That means you will pay $29 for it (or whatever the local price is)
Passed by iTechia Riyadh and ALL the salesmen had no idea about the listed price for 49 SR. Their supervisor said it will be available next week.
