A satisfied Mac user in Saudi Arabia after 3 years of frustration

We reported earlier this week that Arab Computers (Apple’s Authorized Distributor in Saudi Arabia) will finally replace Talal Bakry’s damaged MacBook Pro after 3 years of frustration. Talal has contacted us and told us that he finally got his replacement unibody MacBook Pro.

Tala’s email: “I’m typing this on a brand new 2.4GHz Unibody MacBook Pro. I had my old machine replaced at iStyle on Thursday, after a few complications on Arab Computers part. Thankfully, everything was resolved and now I have a new machine. Thanks a lot for spreading the word on my issue through SaudiMac. I’m pretty sure it had a positive impact. Lesson learned: Never buy a Mac until Apple start direct operations in the Middle East, or if I leave the Middle East. Best Regards, Talal”.

It took 3 years but he finally got what’s rightfully his. It’s a shame there is no real consumer rights organization in Saudi Arabia.
