  • MacBook Pro 15.4″ 2.4GHz with free bag 7,990SR ($2,100). It’s not clear which MBP is this. It could be the late 2007 or early 2008 models. The new late 2008 unibody MacBook Pro 15.4″ 2.4GHz cost $1,999 (7,600SR) from Apple though.
  • “new” iMac 20″ with free wireless keyboard (no price mention yet you save 190SR). This must be a free product. It claims that it is “new” but the “new” iMacs were released last week. It is either the early 2008 or mid 2007 models. Definitely not new. New iMac 20″ 2.66GHz cost $1,199 (4,600SR) from Apple.
  • Unibody MacBook Pro 15.4″ 2.4GHz with iPod Shuffle 2GB for 8,900SR ($2,350). This is the new late 2008 unibody MacBook Pro 15.4″ 2.4GHz which costs $1,999 (7,600SR). iPod Shuffle 2GB cost $69 (265SR).
  • Unibody MacBook 2.0GHz with wireless Mighty Mouse for 5,990SR ($1,580) and 570SR($150) savings. This is the late 2008 unibody MacBook 13″. Its sold for $1,299 (4,950SR) from Apple. Wireless Mighty Mouse cost $69 (265SR).
  • MacBook Air 1.6GHz with MacBook Air SuperDrive for ,6500SR ($1,710) and 890SR ($235) savings. It is not clear which MacBook Air model this is. It could be the new late 2008 or the early 2008 one. The main advantages of the new model are: the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor, 1066MHz frontside bus and an LED-backlit display. That model cost $1,799 (6,850SR) and the SuperDrive cost $99 (370SR).
  • MacBook Air 1.86GHz for 10,400SR ($2750) and 500SR ($132) savings. This is the new MacBook Air released late 2008. It cost $2,499 (9,500SR).
  • MacBook Pro 17″ 2.5GHz with wireless Mighty Mouse and extra battery for 11,500SR ($3030) and 1,600SR ($422) savings. The image in the ad looked like a unibody MacBook Pro but in fact it was a fake image. But it is the early 2008 model. The new 2009 unibody MacBook Pro 17″ 2.66GHz cost $2,799 (10,650SR). Wireless Mighty Mouse cost $69 (265SR). And the 17″ battery cost $129 (490SR).
  • MacBook (white) 2.1GHz 3,990SR ($1,050) and 260SR ($70) savings. This is not the 2009 MacBook white but an early 2008 model. Advantages of the new models over this one are: 1066MHz frontside bus (800MHz in the old one), 2GB default memory, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor and a SuperDrive (Combo Drive in the 2.1 model). The new MacBook white cost $999 (3,800SR) and it can be found in Saudi Arabia for 3,999SR ($1060).
  • Time Capsule 500GB 1,350SR ($355) with 400SR ($105) savings and Time Capsule 1TB 2,350SR ($620) with 500SR ($132) savings. These are the older early 2008 models. The difference between them and the new 2009 models is mainly dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi. The new 500GB Time Capsule cost $299 (1,140SR). The 1TB Time Capsule cost $499 (1,900SR). So the new models cost less than the discounted old ones?
  • AirPort Extreme for 300SR ($80) after %50 discount from 690SR ($182). This is the early 2007 model. Apple just released a new one last week. The new model cost $179 (680SR).
  • The last set of offers are for the 2007 3rd generation iPod nano. It is cheaper to buy the new 4th generation iPod nano from Saudi Arabia.

    • Arab computers resellers (listed on the site) should have the discount.
You need to present a proof that you are a student to the store. I suggest you find the number of the store that you will buy from and ask them.
