On the Macworld 2009 Keynote Apple introduced iLife ’09. The iLife ’09 package will cost $79 ($9.95 if you purchased a Mac between January 6, 2009 and March 28, 2009 and $169 for an iLife ’09, iWork ’09 and Mac OS X Leopard bundle). iLife ’09 will be available by the end of January 2009.
iPhoto ’09

iPhoto ’09 introduces a new feature called “Faces” which uses face detection technology to detect the faces of people in the iPhoto library. You can tag photographs and iPhoto ’09 will search the photo library for that person. “Places” is the second feature of iPhoto ’09. It uses geotagging (GPS information for each photograph) to assign a location for each photo. It also integrates with Google Maps.
iPhoto ’09 will be integrated with Flickr and Facebook.

iMovie ’08

From Macworld magazine:
A new precision editor has been incorporated into iMovie ’09, with an expanded timeline view and “incredible control” for advanced users. Drag & drop of clips has been improved: You can now replace or insert clips, or add just audio from clips, and you can choose different transition points for the audio and video tracks of two clips.
Automatic video stabilization is also a key new feature. The software identifies “jittery†motion and reduces it by comparing frames of video to subsequent and previous frames.
